Genealogy

  • Raja Prithviraj Singh I, 8th Raja of Amber 1502/1527, he was installed on the gaddi on 11th February 1503; married nine wives, including (a), Rani Bala Bai [Apoorva Devi] of Bikaner, married (b). daughter of Maharana Raimal Singhji of Mewar, married (c), Rani Sohag Devi, daughter of Rao Gyan Gaud, and had issue, 18 sons (5 dsp) and 3 daughters. He died .
    • Raja Rupsi Singh, (son of the Gaud Queen), Ancestor of the Rupsinghot Sub-Clan of Rajawat (Kachhawaha) - received the Jagir of Dausa and Banskhoh. He defeated Dahiya Rajputs, who were ruling in the present Parbatsar Area in Nagaur District (Raj.) in a fierce battle and established his rule over the territory. He had issues, 15 sons in total. He died after 1562.

  • Thakur Hanwant/Hanut Singh Ji Rajawat, used to rule a small area near modern day Village Hirani- Kuchaman (District Nagaur, Raj.) where they were living since many generations.
    • Raj Shri Thakur Saheb Shri Dungar Singh Ji Rajawat of Barod, married and had only one issue - a daughter. He was granted the Jagirdari of Barod, Bali Pargana (Jodhpur- Marwar Estate) from His Highness Maharaja Takhat Singh Ji, Maharaja of Jodhpur 1843/1873. As he was the only brother who remained alive post battle, out of 6 sons of Thakur Hanwant/Hanut Singh Ji of Barod. Rest 5 Brothers, fought bravely in the Battle and laid their supreme sacrifice. He then relocated from the paternal place and started establishing himself and residing in Village Barod (Pali Marwar) post this Village's Jagir (5000 Bighas' of Land) was granted as "Baksheesh" in Mund-Katai " (beheaded)
      • Thakurani Megh Kanwar Rajawat Ji, married to Thakur Kesari Singh Ji, Thakur of Bhiwalia [see Auwa] (as his only wife) son of Thakur Chain Singh Ji, Thakur of Bhiwalia, who took part in the Revolt of 1857 along with Thakur Kushal Singh Ji of Auwa.
        • Thakur Bhairon Singh, succeeded as Thakur of Bhiwalia.
    • Kunwar Sabal Singh Ji, attained martyrdom while fighting a fierce battle known as Battle of Baradwa (Near Village Baradwa). He was a brave Knight, who was heading the state Forces of Jodhpur as Army General under the flag of Marwar His Highness Maharaja Takhat Singh Ji (Rathore Maharaja of Jodhpur) and sacrificed his life as he was beheaded during the battle. V.S. 1880
    • Kunwar Mahtaab Singh Ji, attained martyrdom while fighting a fierce battle known as Battle of Baradwa (Near Village Baradwa). Fought bravely under the state Forces of Jodhpur Ruler of Marwar His Highness Maharaja Takhat Singh Ji (Maharaja of Jodhpur) and sacrificed his life.

        • Thakur Devendra Singh Ji Rajawat, born , educated at Chopasani School, Jodhpur and one of the Merit Holders from Rajasthan College of Agriculture (RCA, Udaipur) who finished his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and then pursued PGDBM from Punjab Technical University, Chandigarh. Recently Retired from Rajasthan State Co-operative Services Department (Govt. of Rajasthan), serving them for more than 30 years within various sub-units/Org. Units spread across numerous cities of Rajasthan. Married on 24th April 1985, to Thakurani Sa Bhadawat Ji Sobhagya Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Sahab Ladu Singh Ji Bhadawat (Rathore - Bhadawat Clan) from Thikana Khariya Meethapur, Bilada (Jodhpur) and his wife Thakurani Sa Nathawat Ji Supyar Kanwar of Thikana Naradpura, Amber (Jaipur), and has issues, two sons.
