Sindrath

Sindrath was a prominent Thikana (noble estate) of the erstwhile Sirohi State, ruled by the Deora clan of the Chauhan Rajputs. Established as a jagir granted to the cadet branches of the Sirohi ruling family, the fiefdom played a vital role in the military and administrative affairs of the region. The Thakurs of Sindrath were recognized among the premier nobles (Sardars) of Sirohi, maintaining territorial security and upholding the martial traditions of the Deora Chauhans until the estate's merger into the state of Rajasthan following India's independence.
