History
Padanga Thikana is a historical estate located near the Ajmer region of Rajasthan, ruled by the illustrious Jodha branch of the Rathore Dynasty. The lineage traces its origin back to Rao Jodha, the legendary 15th-century ruler of Marwar and the founder of Jodhpur. The estate of Padanga was established as a fiefdom to recognize the military exploits, loyalty, and administrative competence of the Jodha Rathore warriors in the strategically vital borderlands of Ajmer.
