History
The Kakedari Thikana, situated in the erstwhile princely state of Sirohi, is a minor vassal estate belonging to the Deora clan of Chauhan Rajputs. The estate was originally granted to Kunwar Guman Singh, the younger son of Thakur Karam Singh of Kalandri, establishing it as a cadet branch of the Kalandri state. Throughout its history, Kakedari maintained close feudal ties and military allegiance to the ruling Maharaos of Sirohi, managing local revenue and administrative affairs until the abolition of princely privileges and estates post-Independence, when the region integrated into the modern state of Rajasthan.
