Dongargaon

Dongargaon Thikana, located in the Malwa region of present-day Madhya Pradesh, was an influential estate ruled by the Suryavanshi Rathore clan, who trace their ancestry back to Rao Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur. Established as a noble offshoot of the Ratlam royal house, the thikana maintained a strategic position during the turbulent Maratha and British eras, operating under the administrative oversight of the Gwalior State.
