History

Neema is an ancestral seat of Kishansinghot clan of Bika Rathores. Thakurs of Neema are descendants of Maharaj Kishan Singhji, second son of Raja Dalpat Singhji (7th ruler of Bikaner), and brother of Raja Sur Singhji (8th ruler of Bikaner), who had conferred the hereditary Dohri Tazim, Hathro Kurab to Thakur Saheb Jagat Singhji of Sankhu, in 1630 AD. Thikana had provided significant support to Maharajah Sardar Singhji of Bikaner, during Sepoy Mutiny of 1857 AD and Thakur Mohkam Singhji of Neema, died gallantly in the battlefield. Thikana provided chakari asvar of 12 to Bikaner State. Rulers are seated at number 3 in "Misl Davi Samli" in Bikaner Durbar.
