History

The founder of the family was Rao Agar Sen, younger son of Rao Chandrasen of Marwar. The title of Raja was bestowed on the head of the Bhinai house in 1783 by the then Chief of Jodhpur as a reward for military service. Raja Mangal Singh Bahadur, who was an Honorary Magistrate and Subordinate Judge, received the title of Raja Bahadur as a personal distinction on the 1st January 1877, and was admitted two years later to the Companionship of the Order of the Indian Empire
