History

Rulers of Bae are descendants of Sringot clan of Bika Rathores. Rulers of Bae are descendants of Maharaj Sring ji, son of Rao Jetsi of Bikaner. The Chief is the premiere noble of Bikaner State and enjoys Dohri Tazim and Kurab Hath in Bikaner Darbar, estate was granted by Maharaja Zorawar Singhji of Bikaner in 1739 AD. The estate ranks eighth among the nobles of Bikaner, and consisted of 15 villages. Bae is situated north eastern portion of the state between Sardarshahr and Bhadra.

    • Kunwar Kushal Singh, heir apparent of Bhukarka.
    • Kunwar Daulat Singh (qv), granted Thikana of Bae (Dohri Tazim Kurab Hath) in 1739 A.D. by Maharaja Zorawar Singhji of Bikaner.
  • Thakur Saheb Daulat Singhji, 1st Thakur of Bae, during the struggle which ensued on succession of Maharaja Gaj Singhji to the throne of Bikaner state, his elder brother Maharaj Amar Singhji (heir to the throne) in collaboration with Maharaja of Jodhpur attacked Bikaner, at that juncture Kunwar Daulat Singh of Bhukarka was in-charge of the defenses and for his contribution, later on he was granted the patta of Bae, married and had issue.
